Description

The best, most garden-worthy hardy Geranium. Large 6 cm saucer-shaped flowers just never quit. Violet-blue blooms with white centres flower profusely from late spring through November, or until frost. Unlike many Geraniums, Rozanne® has great heat tolerance, too! Suitable for containers and hanging baskets. Mounded, slightly marbled, deep green foliage becomes reddish brown in autumn for added interest. Internationally recognised through receiving the RHS Award of Garden Merit, winning the RHS Chelsea Flower Show Plant of the Centenary and being selected as 2008 Perennial Plant of the Year in North America. Vernalization not required for flowering. Comes to Rozanne and Friends™ from Donald and Rozanne Waterer, UK.

Praise for Rozanne
Robin Lane Fox, writing in The Financial Times, 14th June 2014
"Geranium Rozanne is the best herbaceous plant to have hit the market in the past 20 years. It is extremely easy to grow.... Its flowers are the loveliest cool blue round a white central ring. They go on and on, beginning now [June] and ending in late autumn. In cool, but light, conditions their colour is even better and their growth more profuse. Anyone can grow Rozanne and enjoy its extraordinary generosity, though it is never more than a foot-and-a-half high on cool soil.... it spreads beautifully in summer to keep out weeds. Unlike other hardy geraniums it does not become a sprawly mess in July which has to be clipped back at once."
