Extensive Supply Network
Must Have Perennials’ global supply network connects reliable young perennial plant producers, breeders and sales support to bring tried and trusted plants to market. There are 20 breeders (and growing), 16 propagators and numerous wholesale/retail growers and distributor sales reps in this network. They serve as invaluable resources for your technical information and supply needs. We also gather variety performance information from 35 trial locations (The Bressingham Gardens, demonstration gardens, university and botanical gardens, including all of our licensed propagators).
Growers can buy starter material from our licensed propagators who supply to the USA and Canada. These are suppliers that you know and trust. You can count on them for reliable, quality starter plants. Available product forms include bare roots, plugs, unrooted cuttings and stage III tissue culture.
Must Have Perennials™ has a long history of teaming up with plant breeders from every background. Perennial varieties come to us from people around the world, including everybody from professional plant breeders and breeding companies to eagle-eyed growers, retailers and amateur gardeners with a passion for plants.
Geranium Rozanne is a shining example, discovered in the private garden of Rozanne and Donald Waterer. Its performance in a wide range of climates around the world, has earned recognition as a PPA Perennial Plant of the Year and also the Royal Horticultural Society’s Plant of the Centenary. It has also become the single most popular flower on Facebook with nearly 100,000 followers.
Must Have Perennials™ varieties are trialed for years – in gardens and pot trials – at secure trial sites, leading perennial growers, universities and botanical gardens worldwide. The comprehensive trials establish reliability and provide valuable information on regional performance under varying light levels, soil types and overall climatic conditions.
