Description

Prolific star-shaped flowers are lavender-blue, with a whiter center eye. A vigorous grower, its long flowering period (May to June; June to October in UK) is further enhanced with renewed flowering when old flowering stems are cut back to the central crown. With a spreading habit, its masses of mid-green, small heart-shaped leaves are typical of C. poscharskyana in color and shape. ‘Blue Rivulet’ is a selection from many seedlings raised by Adrian Bloom for Must Have Perennials. It was chosen for its more compact habit compared to Campanula Blue Waterfall, which was also raised by him.
