Description
Bergenia ‘Bressingham Ruby’ has rich, burgundy-colored, cabbage-like leaves that make a stunning backdrop to its deep rosy-red flowers. The foliage continues to grab your attention through fall and remains evergreen in winter. The steely-blue, narrow leaves of Dianthus ‘Frosty Fire’ contrast nicely with its large, double red flowers. The dusty, violet-blue flowers of native Baptisia ‘Blue Mound’ cools down the show, along with its blue-green leaves. Iris pallida ‘Variegata’ screams for attention with its vivid green and creamy-yellow stripped leaves topped with lavender-blue flowers. A small compact shrub, Deutzia ‘Yuki Cherry Blossom’, covers its arching stems with pretty pink, bell-like flowers in spring, followed by attractive burgundy foliage in fall.
