Description

Eryngium ‘Big Blue’ adds big impact to the garden! This large, bold garden accent makes most others look small and timid. Big blue, 4-inch (10 cm) blooms appear in June on thick, sturdy stems. Electric-blue flower color extends well down onto the stems. Green, spiky foliage on erect, candelabra-shaped plants. Tremendous garden presence that’s impossible to overlook. Great for middle of border. Especially impressive in mass plantings. Novel container specimen and striking cut flower. Excellent larger companion for Eryngium ‘Sapphire Blue’ or ‘Jos Eiking’. Comes to Must Have Perennials from Myerscough College, England.
