Description

The Hibiscus Cordials Series is known for shorter and fuller habits than than typical of Hibiscus moscheutos. Easy to grow, heat-loving performers. Large 8- to 10-inch (20 to 25 cm) flowers come in shades of red and hot pink and begin flowering in midsummer. Fascinating foliage features big, bold leaves with deeply incised “maple leaf” edges in green or bronze, with green and purple accents, depending on variety. Sturdy, upright habit. Flowers in midsummer. Vernalization not required for flowering. Some of Allan Armitage’s favorite Hibiscus varieties in the University of Georgia trials. The Hibiscus Cordials Series comes to Must Have Perennials from Aris Horticulture, Inc., bred by Mark Smith.
