Bringing a unique color to Verbascums, ‘Firedance’ has dusky red flowers with darker purple colored filaments. These are proudly held aloft on upright leafy stems which rise from basal clumps of large, dark-green, ovate leaves with serrated edges. From UK Breeders Claire Wilson and Vic Johnstone.

Flower borders, cottage and informal gardens, containers (if grown with care). Attracts butterflies and hoverflies.
Growing & Marketing Advice
Prefers well-drained alkaline soil with low levels of fertilizer. Will not tolerate wet conditions in winter. Fully hardy in UK, though this variety is considered to be a short-lived perennial.
